I have just returned from the press event held by Huawei’s Honor fragment in New Delhi, where they launched the Honor 5C and Honor T1 tablet 7″.

The phone and tablet’s in-depth review will be out soon, but here are a few highlights.

  • The Honor 5C is a budget friendly smartphone, in competition with Lenovo Zen Phone, Xiaomi Note and majorly LeEco Le 2. The 5C is powered by octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 650 SoC, along with 2GB of RAM, housed in an all-metal body. And is priced for an economical damage of INR 10999.
  • Honor 5C will be released in Gold, Silver and Grey Variants.
  • The 5C will be available via flash sale on June 30 at 2PM although registrations have already started today.
  • The Honor T1 is an extremely budget tablet, priced at a mere INR 6999. The spec sheet looks like 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage, 2MP front and rear cameras and a 4100mAh battery.
  • Honor T1 will only by released in Silver.
  • The Honor T1 will be available on open sale starting today.
  • Both the devices are Flipkart exclusive, although featured on their website as well, hihonor.com/in
  • So far on my hands on usage, the devices seem worth the cash with decent performance.
These devices are for the teen demographic or the adults looking for a second phone or those on a tight budget but don’t want to sacrifice performance. All in all, they are great devices for the price bracket.

More coming out soon.
