InFocus Turbo 5 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The InFocus Turbo 5 is priced competitively, offering a premium metal design along with a massive battery. This is clearly its biggest selling point, so those who really need a smartphone that will last more than a whole day should take a look at this one.
Priced at Rs. 6,999 and 7,999 Turbo 5 will be competing against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Asus Zenfone Max 3. The latter two have already seen great responses from Indian buyers and we will have to see if the massive battery inside the Turbo 5 is enough to win them over. The latter two have already seen great responses from Indian buyers and we will have to see if the massive battery inside the Turbo 5 is enough to win them over.
Of course, the most important feature of the Turbo is its long battery life. The 5000 mAh battery – with the hardware it packs – manages to offer phenomenal battery life. With basic to moderate usage, You would easily be able to get two days battery life on the phone, which is quite good, even if you play a lot of games or watch a lot of TV shows on your device. You can stretch that, and coupled with power saving features, can even squeeze more than that!
If you’ve been keeping up with the latest tech news you may have heard of Foxconn, if you haven’t then you have certainly heard of some of the products it manufactures: iPad, iPhone, Kindle, PlayStation, Xbox and so on! The keyword here is manufacture. Foxconn is a Taiwanese contract manufacturer that assembles products for the likes of Apple, Blackberry, and Microsoft. InFocus Partnered with Foxconn to Produce Phones and Televisions in India.
“We are tying up with Taiwan-based manufactuer Foxconn to produce phones and TVs for the Indian market. All our phones will come from Foxconn’s Andhra plant and our TVs from its Chennai plant,” said InFocus’ India chief Sachin Thapar.
