ASUS India launched a new smartphone under the ZenFone Zoom series as the ZenFone Zoom S for Rs. 26999. The smartphone comes with a full metal body and there is a 5.5-inch Full HD display on the front protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5, with the 2.5D curved glass on the edges.
ASUS ZenFone Zoom S is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with the Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. While the device runs Android Marshmallow based ZenUI 3.0, it is upgradeable to Android Nougat through an update. There is a fingerprint sensor offered on the back of the phone.
The rear camera is a dual-lens camera combination with the primary Sony IMX362 sensor and F/1.7 aperture, and the secondary camera, i.e. the zoom camera is capable of offering 2.3x optical zoom while you can push it to 12X digital zoom.
