SAN FRANCISCO, CA - OCTOBER 19: (L-R) President at Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, CCO at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, John Lasseter, producer/president at Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, chairman/CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, and deputy editor at Vanity Fair, Stephanie Mehta, speak onstage during "Inside the House of Disney" at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on October 19, 2016 in San Francisco, California. There was a rumor that the Disney Corporation of Goodwill had fought for the purchase of the 21st Century Fox studio. While negotiations, judging by the source, are at the earliest stages and in general can collapse at any moment.
Walt Disney has held talks with Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox about buying most of the company, including its stake in UK-based Sky, people briefed on the talks said, in a potentially controversial deal that would reshape the media landscape.

But let’s imagine for a moment that Mickey will take over 21st Century Fox. For fans, this means one thing: Marvel and Disney will have access to licenses for their sold characters. The list includes the X-Men and everything connected with them (Deadpool), as well as the Fantastic Four writhing in agony. ie, in fact, the last remaining valuable superhero assets that they do not own.

For some, this can be a holiday, and for others – a nightmare. But in reality, it is, at the moment, a rumor.
